Definition

  • A non-profit organization developing curriculum and professional certification programs, and administering national exams, in all facets of property and liability insurance, including risk management, accounting, auditing, underwriting, loss control and research. In 1997 the IIA, the Insurance Institute of Canada and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Great Britain signed an agreement to establish the Institute for Global Insurance Education.
